This extraordinary athlete has achieved great success in both sports, showcasing his dedication and talent.

A Stellar Track Career

Allen's journey in track and field began at an early age when he joined the Arizona Rising Suns track club. Despite showing promise in football as well, his coaches encouraged him to pursue his track career. And so, he devoted himself to the sport and flourished during his high school years at Brophy Prep.

In the world of track, Allen has achieved remarkable feats. He is a three-time U.S. national champion in the 110-meter hurdles, clinching the title in 2014, 2016, and 2018. Additionally, he has competed in two Olympic Games, reaching the finals in both the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympics and the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. The Emergence of a Football Star

While Allen's focus shifted primarily to hurdling and track-and-field after college, his talent on the football field should not be overlooked. During his time at the University of Oregon, Allen showcased his skills as a wide receiver. Entering college as a highly regarded four-star recruit, he made a significant impact in his first season, recording 41 receptions for 684 yards and 7 touchdowns.

After a successful college career, Allen decided to participate in the football pro day held for University of Oregon players in 2022. It was during this event that he caught the attention of NFL scouts with his blazing speed, running an unofficial 4.35-second 40-yard dash. Impressed by his performance, the Philadelphia Eagles invited Allen to their training facility, the NovaCare Complex, on April 7.

Joining the Philadelphia Eagles

The Eagles recognized Allen's potential and wasted no time in signing him as a wide receiver on April 8, 2022. Though his NFL journey had its ups and downs, including being waived and signed to the practice squad, Allen's determination and talent ultimately paid off.
